Letters To Autumn // Photo Diary.

I think its been well established on this blog that I love Autumn. And also, I live in the countryside. And although I complain a lot about living in the middle of nowhere, feeling disconnected to the world, when it comes to Autumn I couldn’t be happier to be home.

One of my favourite things to do at any time of year, but especially Autumn is grab my camera and go on a stroll around the area, there’s always so much to see and the fresh open air is just so relaxing. And mother nature’s box of crayonsΒ of deep reds, oranges, greens, browns – it’d be rude not to take an abundance of photos.

However this particular walk took a twist when I decided I was totally feeling myself that day, and what was supposed to be a 20 minute walk up the road to take photos of the woods turned into a 2 hour mini photoshoot. And it’s very rare I get a good photo, so when I do, I put them on every platform I have. But anyway, here’s another photo diary of the 25th and 26th October 2016 for you all, enjoy.

There’s a quote I love that goes: ‘If a year was tucked inside of a clock, then Autumn would be the magic hour.’ And I couldn’t concede this enough.

I hope you liked these photos, I’m not trying to be vain here, I just like the photos and thought I’d share them with you (I felt I had to say that.) And maybe they’re bringing back that Autumn vibe. I’m always very big on ‘adventure at your doorstep’ and how you don’t have to go on a plane, or even a train or bus to explore and find new places, so maybe this post inspires someone to get out and have a little venture round, see what they can find.

Until next time,

Em x

  19. Your photos are absolutely stunning! It looks like you live in some kind of blissful autumn bubble… You’re so right about fresh air. I work in the city centre and live about fifteen minutes outside it but there are so many parks nearby and I’m never too far from the countryside πŸ™‚
