A Little Q&A.

I’ve never told you a lot about me, not explicitly anyway. So I felt a get to know me post was well over due. But I didn’t want to do your bog standard tag, so I went to the lovely people of Twitter and got some questions from people to answer, so without further ado, here we go:

Q1. @leahhprescott What is your favourite blog post you’ve written?

That’s hard, because I’ll never post something I haven’t put my all in, at least I try. But if I had to choose one I think it’d be ‘Hi, I’m Em.’ as I never thought I’d take that step and show myself, but here we are.

Q2. @louisechatters what is your favourite kind of restaurant to go to?

Either Italian or Chinese!

Q3. @misteriosmon5 how many months have you been blogging?

I mean, my first post went up in March, but nothing happened since and I wasn’t actually, what I call, ‘blogging’ until September. So I say about 2 months.

Q4. @robinebrb what inspired you to start blogging?

I started it because I wanted something to do, a project, just something that was mine to do what I wanted with it. And I think that versatility and open door that is a blog really inspired me just to write about anything and everything that came to mind.

Q5. @kvburton657 what’s the best kind of tea ever?

I genuinely can’t give you one answer, I love tea, all tea. I just, tea.

Q6. @fairlyrosy what’s your favourite thing to de-stress?

There are so many things I do, depends how I feel, but my absolute favourite thing is listen to classical music and write or read, it’s the perfect dose of escapism.

Q7. @dizzyingheight if you could live else where in the world, where would it be and why?

London. Yes there are so many places around the world and I really want to go explore them, but I don’t think I’d want to live there. London has always been the goal, even though it still does scare me sometimes.

Q8. @abbeylouisarose how do you combat writer’s block? Do your friends/family know about your blog? Who are your blogging idols?

I just don’t think about it, I don’t want to force an idea from me it has to come naturally. So I kind of forget about writing and focus on other things I love like going outside or reading or singing and it seems to come back to me. My family do, and my closest friends do, and they’re all so supportive it makes me so happy! I have so so many, I think just anyone who writes with passion and sincerity, you can really grasp their feelings in the text and it’s just so lovely to see people doing this for the love of it! But to name people, probably Wanderlust Bee and Becca Jayne.

Q9. @blogaboutnothing1 what is your favourite takeaway?

Nothing beats a Chinese. Nothing.

Q10. @scribbledreams what are your dreams/goals? What are you doing to achieve them?

I am that person who has endless goals and dreams, I want to become a performer, I want to travel the world, I want to write, I want to inspire, and so much more. And to get there I just keep going no matter what and I don’t sit around and wait for it!

Thank you to these lovely people for giving me some great questions! And I hope you liked this little read on getting to know me a bit better!

Until next time,

Em x
