As I’m sure many others do, I go through phases in my aesthetic. Whether it be rustic, tomboy, classy, boho, I forever want to be one sort of Instagram theme or the other.
Currently I’m taking a leaf off the classy tree and felt inspired to do a gift guide around it. No particular reason except I’m feeling fancy and festive!! So here we are, these would be perfect for a friend, girlfriend, spouse, sibling, secret santa, anyone!
So firstly, excuse the horrendous photography here the light has been so bad and I had to go with them (blogger problems eh). But a no brainer gift, a bag, more specifically, a clutch. Something which can be used for many occasions and make the most simple thing look 10x classier. And it’s priced on KoKo Couture for only £19?? Something which is amazing quality and so pretty (post all on this bag to come soon!) and so affordable, this will be a girls best friend, and is the perfect gift!
Next, another obvious one, makeup. Something a little more special to make a girl feel super sassy, even more sassy than before. So my pick are these gorgeous eyelashes which were kindly gifted to me. I will be honest, I’ve not really tried false eyelashes before, except when doing a short film and they were applied for me. So I’m not the best to say whether application is good or not, but as a newbie it seemed straight forward (they also have instructions on the back, bonus!) and they are a lovely quality, and so so pretty on. Very dramatic, but so gorgeous, perfect for a night out and the perfect gift! Whether it be a little secret Santa gift or stocking filler. I’m really not big on makeup, like really not big, but maybe to see these bad boys in action I’ll do a makeup look included one or other of them, or both!
Sorry for online photos, however all my candles are being burnt and aren’t photogenic. But candles are always a yes. Perfect for a relaxing evening or just any time, it always adds a lovely atmosphere that, if someone’s like me, makes people feel 110x better. Yankee Candles are always a good call, you can either buy a large one or get some little tea lights alongside a lovely tealight holder. Again, great stocking fillers and so affordable! My favourites are anything spicey or fresh and tropical.
Perfume is great as a present, smelling great makes someone feel so so good about themselves. But I wanted to keep this affordable, and not all perfumes are so affordable, so I suggest body sprays. My current favourite is the Victoria Secret one in Pure Seduction, which only cost me £10 in Superdrug so won’t burn a hole in your pocket! I love the Victoria Secret sprays, they are all so lovely and versatile so you don’t need to know much about scents and what they’ll like, as I’m sure they’ll like any of them!
Lastly, as I wanted to keep this guide short and sweet, a makeup bag or wash bag or even a coin purse. I don’t know what it is but there’s something about having a classy thing to keep stuff in feels great, it makes everything inside so much greater. It’s the little things. And when its personalised, even better. Etsy has so so many pieces like this, at such great prices, you can’t go wrong.
There’s a little glam gift guide! I hope you all like it, I’m not very good at these things but I gave it a whirl.
Until next time,
