The Ghost of Christmas Past.

What would Christmas be without all the memories and little trips to the past. And whilst rummaging through bits I found some old scrapbooks and disposables, and of course had to sit and look through them all. And I thought it’d be a bit of fun to be my own ghost of Christmas past and share some of the Christmas ones with you. Some cute, some rather embarrassing but all very lovely. So, let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

Making snowmen was always a ‘thing’ of ours at Christmas. We’d add the finale of a carrot with a line that sticks to this day “And a carrot for the nose”

no-words

Let’s get this embarrassing one out of the way. Back story, I used to be afraid of men, except my dad, uncle and grandpa. So when it came to meeting Santa, I’d freak, refuse to say a word and, well, my face explains the rest. I don’t know whats worse my face or my haircut.

I think I was a bit obsessed with pink as a child…

Another embarrassing one, but this time I’m bringing my brother in with me. Sorry Ollie. I give you, pyjama boy and, me…

cutie

This isn’t Christmassy, but apparently was taken around Christmas. And I kind of find this adorable!

Christmas 2002, look at that cheeky smile. I also really miss the deep pink pinafore, I could rock that today.

Still 2002, my brother and I. I bloomin’ love this photo.

Writing this has made me so happy, looking through these made my heart warm. However my haircut from those years will haunt me forever. Thank you mum for capturing all these lovely moments so we can treasure them forever.

Until next time,

Em x
