Letters To Andrew. #1

Let me give you some context. 16 year old Em had a crazy idea in her head she could do vine (Spoiler, she couldn’t do vine) and began making little covers. One day she gets a message from someone, telling her how he loved her voice and all this, thus, the Emily Andrew friendship bloomed.

We’ve now been friends the past year, give or take. And it’s fair to say he’s an angel. However, one thing. Andrew lives in Florida. 3,870 miles away. We facetime so much (until I lost my ipod oops, but now I have an iphone and we can once again facetime!) and its as if he’s here, thank you technology. And so I thought I’d begin a new series on my blog, for so many reasons. To tell you not to listen to those who tell you you can’t make friends with people online, obviously be careful, but not everyone are scary 35 year old men. And also, as another way to connect to one of my bestest friends, for us both to look back on.

So, Andrew, where do I begin? I mean I facetimed you the other day for a catch up. It was also the dreaded day in American politics we all feared for, but really didn’t see coming. And I pray for you, your friends, your family as none of us know what the next 4 years may bring, but always know I’m here. But I am wholeheartedly so proud of you, for working so hard on your campaign. Now you go and study political science and boss it.

I know you have been exploring the internet to try find me drama degrees in Florida, which is adorable, but I’m beginning to question going to uni at all. Scary thoughts, I know. But the thought of 3 years is so scary and I feel I want to dive in and do it now, I don’t want to wait. It’s a very daring thought but who knows. I’ve started applying (ahhhh) but it’s all still a huge question mark.

As for the whole drama singing thing, it’s all a bit crazy. I’m still at it and forever will be, but I honestly have no clue where it’s all going.

I’m so excited that I’ve inspired you to maybe start your own blog! Well, maybe, I hope you do though as you’ll do amazing and I can’t wait to see it all if you go ahead with it. And it’s so heartwarming to know I inspired you, inspiring people is a main goal of mine.

There’s not much else to say except, I miss you, come to England. And I hope you’re doing well b.

Love,

Em xx
