The Skin Spring Clean.

I’ve always been relatively lucky with my skin. I’ve had my fair share of breakouts don’t get me wrong, but they’ll be gone within a few days. However I’m such a novice when it comes to skincare. I do the usual, take my makeup off, wash, do the odd face mask. But honestly I have no clue what I’m doing – anyone else relate?

So it has been a goal of mine to really know what I’m doing to my skin to take better care of it. And whenever I try to look more into it, I always come across some supplements or vitamins of sorts and it always has me intrigued. But there are so many to choose from, how do you know what works?? It was all a big mystery to me, and I’m left very perplexed. So I was very excited when I discovered Regime London – a premium range of nutricosmetics providing a long lasting impact for beauty, care and support for your skin.

I have been taking their Hyaluronic Acid for the last 30 days and can flat out honestly say I’m impressed. And with the spring and summer days in the horizon it’s been a perfect skin pick me up.

So, I’ll start with the vitamins themselves. They come in more aesthetically pleasing packaging ever, they don’t look daunting or medical but rather quite inviting and clean. On the back of the box is the nutritional information, directions of use, ingredients, advice and lots of information on the benefits of the vitamins. Inside there is also a little leaflet with some more information about the success of the product, so by no means do they leave you in the dark about what you’re putting into your body. The vitamins are quite big if you can’t swallow tablets well, but if you’re okay with swallowing tablets then they’re absolutely fine and go down quite easily with a cup of water, and there’s no weird taste or texture to put you off.

Now, Hyaluronic Acid – what does it do?? Well, friends, let me tell you. Hyaluronic Acid really works on smoothing the skin, it’s naturally found in the body and secures, moisture and plumps up the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and producing youthful looking skin. It also contains vitamins C and E, which are natural antioxidants helping protect cells from oxidative stress, and contains Niacin, Riboflavin and Zinc which are advocates in maintaining skins health. All of that in a vitamin – crazy, I know.

Right, down to the results. I’ve already said I’m impressed but I’ll give you more of a low down. Being an 18 year old you wouldn’t think I’d need something for youthful skin and reducing wrinkles, and okay I will admit I have no wrinkles to be reduced, however my skin feels and looks so much more refreshed and smooth, I would still say it looks more youthful, in the sense it’s plump and glowy. I’m also very good at doing plenty of exercise and drinking lots of water which is always good for maintaining clear and healthy skin, but along taking these I find it the perfect regime (pun intended). I did forget to take the vitamins a few days, but don’t we all, however it didn’t tamper with the whole process so don’t worry if you’re a little forgetful like myself.

Overall I would really recommend this product to anyone who wants a skin pick me up, and especially if you don’t have smooth skin, you’re acne prone or have wrinkles. I will definitely be trying our their other products (currently eyeing up the coconut quench) to continue my skin spring clean. I don’t like wearing foundation, and it’s a task for me to do concealer, so on clear skin days I just relish in the no makeup life and, if you’re like me, these sort of products will be perfect as it gives you smooth and plump skin, to give you more confidence to ditch the foundation. And for such an affordable price at only £19.99!

I would highly recommend Regime and they’re products to anyone, so do definitely check them out!

Until next time,

Em x

  5. I’m normally useless with my skincare regime too, so recently I’ve been putting in extra effort to try out new products and I’ve actually ended up loving some of them! I’ve always been a bit nervous about trying products like this, but since you found that it made a difference I think I’ll have to give it a try! x

My skin isn’t really bad but it is quite dull and doesn’t really have a natural glow to it so I’m definitely considering getting this!

Oh wow! This sounds amazing and I’ve never come across this brand/product before. I agree with what you said about not really knowing which products can be good for your skin and I’m on the search at the moment for something to keep my skin looking clear and healthy but not sure what to try or go for because it can be risky but seeing how it’s got a lot of vitamins and you enjoyed it, I might have to check this out. Seriously! love this post Em and I have to admit, your blog is so aesthetically pleasing haha, don’t ask why! xxx

  8. I’ve been looking at using Hyaluronic Acid for a while now as I definitely suffer from dehydrated skin but I’m so rubbish when it comes to swallowing tablets! xx

I know the feel, swallowing tablets isn’t for everyone! They are quite big but not harsh! xx
