Work Christmas parties or Christmas drinks can be a nightmare. You’re going straight from your desk to going out and about and there’s just not the time to get glam. So you’re neighbor hood Christmas loving friend Em is here to give some inspiration on how to style different Christmas jumpers. Ao you can go from desk to glam effortlessly.
For the punnier ones out there, we have this little number in a lovely deep green with gold writing. I love this jumper. I honestly think this will be my favorite jumper of the season. The colours are still very mature and subtle and not tacky at all. Which I find some Christmas jumpers can be, but it still has a little Christmas humour.
I’d pair this with a simple but staple faux leather skirt, some little ankle boots and of course some sort of jacket or coat! This creates such a fun and stylish little look for going out, but can be whipped up so easily, and could be made that little bit more glam with a touch of red lipstick!
For some reason I hadn’t thought of this, but this is genius. Having a jumper dress – a cosy but stylish item to wear for both around the office. Maybe with some flats and tights and then switch them up for a nice coat and some knee high boots or even heels for an effortless going out look – honestly it’s genius. This did come a little big on me, but what doesn’t. Still is the comfiest thing and again with the puns, luvin’ it.
Finally we have more of a traditional Christmas jumper, something you cannot go wrong with. And this beautiful red fairisle jumper is so classic and just looking at it makes me feel cosy.
I paired this with some cigarette trousers, ankle boots and a leather jackets for a very simple casual but smart look. And the red obviously gives it that pop of Christmas colour to help it stand out. And the best part is you could easily wear this in the office and out and about for some drinks or a Christmas meal – how easier could you get?
I’ve had so much dressing up these jumpers honestly, I love Christmas period. And you can find these lovely numbers and more over at Pretty Little Thing: https://www.prettylittlething.com/shop-by/christmas-shop/christmas-jumpers.html and for really affordable prices (because being real, nobody wants to splash out on a jumper they wear for a few months a year).
I do apologize for the photography in this. The perfectionist in me is kicking herself. But when you’re sick and also trying to do assessments a gals got to improvise. Nonetheless I hope you enjoyed this post.
Until next time,
