MY A/W HAIRCARE FAVOURITES

As I’ve mentioned in the one haircare post I’ve done. I don’t have much of an intensive haircare routine. However I have quite long hair and the Autumn/Winter months cause my hair to just be 10x more high maintenance than it was before. And so it can take a few more recruits to tackle my autumn haircare. So I thought I’d share a trio I was kindly sent by Sparkle Pr which are hold a strong place in my haircare army and keeping my mane under wraps through the colder months.

POWER DRY.ME

This magical mist claims to shorten time blow drying by almost half the time. So as someone who has to take a good hour out of her day to dry my hair, I was certainly intrigued by this. It also controls fizz, smooths and conditions hair and has heat/UV protection. Sounds like a bloomin’ miracle in a bottle if you ask me. According to the website the mist forms a layer around the hair fibers. Providing better alignment thus preventing entrapment of water molecules due to tangling. And excess water is ‘beaded’ out of the hair, as opposed to soaking into the hair so is removed more easily!

I’ve been using this for the past few weeks now. And granted I’ve never timed how long exactly it takes to try my hair. But using this has seemed to make an obvious difference. You just spritz it over your roots and ends and away you go. It’s perfect for this time of year – washing your hair in the morning and not having time to dry. So you just have to embrace your best Jack Frost life with icicles hanging from your head. Nobody wants that so this little product can save the hassle, and gives you a bit of a lie in! I use it alongside some other products so I don’t know if it solely conditions and smooths my hair, but it definitely feels super healthy and soft after blow-drying!

FAB.ME

Being referred to as ‘the mother of all treatments’ this little guy is an 18-in-1 treatment.

Sorry, what?

I won’t give you all the things it does as we’d be here all day. But it boosts the defense, control and fabulousity of the air. Almost giving it a new breath of life and retaining the youthful, silky feeling. You just spray onto damp hair, comb through and blow dry – voila! I don’t think I’ve tried this enough to see the full effect of the 18-in-1. But I really like this product. It feels so nice on the hair and gives your hair a little bit more life when blow drying and styling. Also it saves the abundance of products on your counter, you just need the one!

PUFF.ME LIGHT

I always like to give my hair a little volume when styling, as I have quite fine and flat hair. So I was super excited to try this out! I usually use a salt spray which works fine, but can be a little sticky. This is basically a light version of the Puff.me – a volumising powder spray which you just pump onto the roots to style. The lighter version is perfect for me as using anything too heavy just dries out and damages my hair. So I’m super happy with this. It’s perfect to add to curls to make them a bit more beachy and volumised, or just in the roots if you want a bit more ‘0omph’. Will definitely be a staple for the festive parties!

What are your go-to A/W haircare products?

Oooooh the Puff.me product sounds right up my street! As my hair gets longer again, it gets a bit heavier & needs that extra boost to make it look alive & full of volume. Definitely want to check these out. I personally love to use a drop or two more of moroccan oil around this time of year as my scalp actually does get a bit drier in A/W!

The powder dry.me sounds amazing! I really don’t give as much attention to my hair as I maybe should, so all these products sound awesome!
