Postcards From Bath
A few weeks ago we spent a few days in Bath for my birthday. It has been at the top of my travel list for so long now and it definitely did not disappoint. We spent the day milling around the markets, browsing bookshops and enjoying the beautiful sights and history bath had to offer. It has quickly become a favourite place of mine, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t already have an autumn trip there booked.
Possibly my favourite part of Bath was the amount of small and indie businesses that lined the streets. From small coffee and tea shops such as Society Cafe or The Bath Bun, to plant shops (I had Botanica Studio as a place to visit however it was closed – a justified reason to go back?) and book shops such as Mr B’s Emporium.
Bath seems like the ultimate Christmas gift shopping spot, and I cannot wait to go back and go to all the other markets and shops I missed this time round.
We stayed at the beautiful MacDonald Bath Spa Hotel, which is only a short walk to the centre and a great choice if you want a bit more of a luxury weekend away. The afternoon we arrived was spent sitting on the terrace, wandering the grounds and making full use of their spa facilities – a perfect way to recover from the journey over.

forever obsessed with the shots you capture, they’re always gorgeous & truly “picturesque.” bath has been on my very long, ever-increasing england list of places to go when i visit the country one day. the shops lining the streets sound so appealing!! x
