  • (gifted) Really excited to be sharing my 'Forever story' with you in partnership with @diormakeup. If you didn’t know already, I live with a chronic illness called M.E. And have done for the last 4 years. I’ve never really discussed the first 6 months of coming down with it and eventually getting a diagnosis, as it’s honestly a bit of a blur with waves of long sleepless nights and constant doctors appointments brushing it off, and teachers telling me ‘I was just lazy’. I’d be lying if I said this hasn’t shaped me in a number of ways. I had to say farewell to my dream of drama school and becoming a performer, I had to watch many friendships dissolve without any control all whilst trying to understand this invisible illness and all it’s many faces, and trying to manage my physical and mental health. Oh, and try take a couple of A levels whilst I’m at it. But fast forward to now, 4 years on. Okay I’m not really where I thought I’d be, compromises were made in my career and lifestyle, but what’s the fun in planned and simple eh? I’m in a happy and hopeful place enjoying the things I do and having the energy to do them and surrounded by some great people, so I can’t complain really🤷🏼‍♀️ I feel extra great when I wear my foundation, I am wearing the shade 1C in Dior's new range. Ready to submerge myself under the covers, face mask on and tea or wine in hand (most likely the latter, let’s be honest).
