There’s nothing like the internet to make you ~glacial green~ with home envy. An abundance of cosy nooks and corners. Then you look over to your corner with a chair that’s starting to resemble a Chinese laundry room. I know these Pinterest perfect bedrooms are all an optical illusion. Flip to the other side of the camera and low and behold there’s that all too familiar sight. Piled up clothes, random boxes that serve no purpose but are yet to reach a bin and an unmade bed scattered with biscuit crumbs and tea stains.
Doesn’t mean I still don’t indulge myself in some homeware window shopping from time to time. I love the idea of interior design, having this blank space to make your own. I’m still some time off moving into my first home. So I must refrain from buying everything ‘ready for when I get a house’. But for now, my little bedroom will do. That doesn’t mean I can’t make a little homeware wishlist to pass the time (I won’t lie, most of this stuff is from H&M home). Put my window shopping to good use, you could say.
But I thought I’d make it an under £30 wishlist. Because as we all know if you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, I like to keep things cheap and cheerful. So this is perfect if you’re looking for the finishing touches on a room. Or looking to add a little character to stray attention away from the garish curtains in your new uni room. Maybe you’re even looking for a certain gift for a certain someone for a certain C word that’s only two months away. You can find some homeware gems for under £30 (definitely check out charity shops as well!).
