And just like that, it’s gift guide season all over again. It feels as if it was only last week I was rushing around to take flatlays and putting together my 2018 Christmas content. And as the run up to Christmas has officially begun (seriously how is it only a month away??) I thought I’d kick it off with a gift guide for her. So if you’re looking for a special lady in your life, or even looking for your own Christmas list, then you’ve come to the right place.
ACCESSORIES
There hasn’t been a Christmas in the last few years where my list hasn’t been bombarded with jewellery. But jewellery is always a special gift, especially when it reflects the person you’re giving it to. Whether it be engraved or personalised, or brings back some memories, jewellery can say a lot. One of my favourite jewellery brand Missoma offers a complimentary engraving service. Which is perfect for this time of year. They’re items are more on the luxe end of the spectrum but will last a very long time and are absolutely stunning. But if you’re looking for something a little more affordable I’d definitely recommend checking out Orelia, ASOS and Accessorize.
FRAGRANCE
It can be so hard to know what sort of fragrance to buy someone. Do you go floral, woody, or do you just look for the prettiest bottle? How about a selection? Earlier this year I was introduced to Scent Addict – a membership where you can date your fragrances before you buy. They come in a pretty little atomiser, perfect to pop in your handbag. And they have a range of brands from Armani, Loewe and Gucci and the perfect gift idea for the scent lover.
Alternatively, my go-to scents at the moment are Loewe 001 and the Jo Malone Orange Bitters (the perfect Christmas scent). But if you’re looking for something more on the affordable side I highly recommend the Zara perfumes. If I had to choose one brand forever, it’d be Zara. They do a great range of scents, at a great price.
SOMETHING FOR THE OFFICE
A whole gift guide dedicated to homeware and lifestyle will be up soon, so I thought I’d focus on the office. Anyone else get super excited when they get some fresh new stationary for Christmas? Something to get you motivated to get work done in the new year. It’s a great gift idea for a student or ~girl boss~ in your life. There’s some really pretty planners for 2020, I’ve been eyeing up this one from Papier, Urban Outfitters always does a great range as well. But for something a little more luxe, you can always get something a little more personal like a monogrammed notebook.
Office decor is also a great option. This letter sorter is perfect for the home office, or a few new desk accessories. Maybe a new candle to keep them zen during work, or a Pinterest perfect ornament.
There’s plenty more to talk about, from beauty to food to well-being so I’ve popped a few more ideas down below…
